New Translation of the Aeneid


A new translation of Virgil's Aeneid by Robert Fagles (who has also translated the Iliad and the Odyssey) has come out recently. Here are a couple of interesting reviews from the Sydney Morning Herald and Time magazine, which starts: "At school, I loathed Latin, in general, but I detested Virgil in particular..."

Each word must contain the centre letter and there must be at least one nine-letter word in the list.

You may include words of any case, number, tense, mood, voice or person, but only one form of each word.
